  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing.
  • 3 cloves Fresh garlic Finely minced.
  • 8 oz Mushrooms Sliced thin.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated for flavor.
  • 1 tsp Black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped for garnish.
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 cup Spinach For extra nutrients.
  • 1 cup Grilled chicken or shrimp For added protein.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and tender.
  4. Reduce heat, pour in heavy cream, and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Fold the drained pasta into the sauce. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed. Season with black pepper.
  6. Serve in bowls, garnished with fresh parsley and optional spinach or grilled chicken/shrimp.
